Logan City Council has received $1.02 million under the South-East Queensland (SEQ) City Deal Public Art Initiatives program.
The Public Art Initiatives is a commitment under the $1.8 billion SEQ City Deal between the Australian Government, Queensland Government, and the Council of Mayors (SEQ). It is designed to enhance place-making and promote a more liveable South East Queensland region through Public Art and Architecture.
Council has applied to the SEQ City Deal to use the funding for the Centres Functional Art Trail project across the city.
April to June 2025 we sought community feedback on what's important to you when it comes to public artwork in the City of Logan. Your input will helped us develop the detailed artist brief for the concept design stage and guide how projects are selected.
You can read more information on each the project below.
Council invited you to share your thoughts and ideas to help shape the artist brief for the concept design.
