From 27 May to 26 June we asked the community to contribute to the Mabel Park waterway naturalisation project design project - we had 78 online survey respondents and approximately 160 face to face interactions. We engaged in various ways, online and in person. Respondents would like to see a naturalised creek, fauna and flora cared for, more event and activities in the park, connectivity and accessibility. When asked what they cared most about the park respondents mentioned: local green space, established trees, playground, open space and access to water. Suggestions for improvement focused on increased biodiversity, people's ability to interact with the environment, park structures, bins, benches and shelters.
